Active learning within the Community
Children are actively encouraged to play a musical instrument (either piano or guitar) should they wish to. All lessons are provided free of charge and aim to encourage children to learn to play their chosen instrument. Twang Music Foundation also provides the instruments for lessons free of charge.

Children's guitar classes at St John's Primary school
We currently offer group guitar tuition at St John's primary school where children can learn the joy of learning to play the guitar. This is a service offered by two of our teachers who are excellent instructors from our academy.
Our teachers are friendly and approachable and able to offer free group guitar tuition on behalf of the Twang Music Foundation. Our aim is to provide music services to local schools in the area for children who may not otherwise have access to music lessons.

We also aim to provide group singing classes and weekly choir sessions for children at St John's CE primary school as part of our mission to encourage and inspire young children to learn music.
